Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X13H148 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13H148 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13H148 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X13H148, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13H148. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13H148.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13H148, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PHPAR with a second plant of variety PH2WSG1, wherein representative seed of the varieties PHPAR and PH2WSG1 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-12009 and PTA-124000, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13H148 further comprising a transgene, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PHPAR with a second plant of variety PH2WSG1, wherein representative seed of the varieties PHPAR and PH2WSG1 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-12009 and PTA-124000, respectively, and wherein the transgene has been introduced into at least one of variety PHPAR and variety PH2WSG1.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X13H148 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PHPAR with a second plant of variety PH2WSG1;
- representative seed of the varieties PHPAR and PH2WSG1 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-12009 and PTA-124000, respectively;
- wherein at least one of the varieties PHPAR and PH2WSG1 further comprises a the locus conversion and wherein the seed produces a plant having otherwise all the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety X13H148 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
