Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X13K465 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13K465 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13K465 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X13K465, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13K465. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13K465.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13K465, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH2STR, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH2STR have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA-124598, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13K465 further comprising at least a first transgene, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH2STR, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH2STR have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA-124598, respectively.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X13K465 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH2STR;
- representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH2STR having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA-124598, respectively;
- wherein at least one of the varieties PH1V69 and PH2STR further comprises a locus conversion and wherein the seed produces a plant having otherwise all the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety X13K465 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
