A novel maize variety designated X05K682 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X05K682 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X05K682 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X05K682, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X05K682. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X05K682.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X05K682, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH25KM with a second plant of variety PH256Z, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH25KM and PH256Z have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-123754 and PTA-124304, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X05K682 further comprising a transgene, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH25KM with a second plant of variety PH256Z, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH25KM and PH256Z have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-123754 and PTA-124304, respectively, and wherein the transgene has been introduced into at least one of variety PH25KM and variety PH256Z.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X05K682 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH25KM with a second plant of variety PH256Z;
