A novel maize variety designated X03K059 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X03K059 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X03K059 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X03K059, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X03K059. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X03K059.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X03K059, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH25KM with a second plant of variety PH2T7V, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH25KM and PH2T7V have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-123754 and PTA-124555, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X03K059 further comprising at least a first transgene, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH25KM with a second plant of variety PH2T7V, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH25KM and PH2T7V have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-123754 and PTA-124555, respectively, and wherein the transgene has been introduced into at least one of variety PH25KM and variety PH2T7V.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X03K059 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH25KM with a second plant of variety PH2T7V;
