A novel maize variety designated X00K421HR and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X00K421HR with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X00K421HR through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X00K421HR, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X00K421HR. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X00K421HR.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00K421HR, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2TCG with a second plant of variety PH2DPY, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2TCG and PH2DPY have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-123750 and PTA-124001, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X00K421HR further comprising at least a first transgene, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2TCG with a second plant of variety PH2DPY, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2TCG and PH2DPY have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-123750 and PTA-124001, respectively, and wherein the transgene has been introduced into at least one of variety PH2TCG and variety PH2DPY.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X00K421HR seed further comprising a locus conversion, the seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2TCG with a second plant of variety PH2DPY;
