A novel maize variety designated X08H739 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X08H739 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X08H739 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X08H739, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X08H739. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X08H739.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X08H739, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1M1K with a second plant of variety PH12BN, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1M1K and PH12BN have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-120427 and PTA-11176, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X08H739 further comprising at least a first transgene.
A converted F1 hybrid maize variety X08H739 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the converted seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1M1K with a second plant of variety PH12BN;
