Abstract
In a method for producing a component by hot forming of a pre-product made of steel, the pre-product is heated to forming temperature and subsequently formed. The product is heated to a temperature below the AC1-transformation temperature and undergoes a strength increase prior to the heating by cold forming.
Claims13
A method for producing a component by hot forming of a pre-product made of steel, comprising;
- subjecting the pre-product to a deformation by cold drawing or cold rolling with a deformation degree of at least 3%, whereby the pre-product undergoes a strength increase as a result of the deformation;
- heating the pre-product to forming temperature below AC1-transformation temperature;
- and
- forming the pre-product by hot forming at the forming temperature into the component.
