Abstract
A replication inhibitor for a virus belonging to the genus Mastrevirus of the family Geminiviridae, which comprises a zinc finger protein that can specifically bind to full length DNA of stem loop region of the virus, or one or more partial DNAs selected from the full length DNA, and can inhibit formation of a stem loop structure.
Claims18
A replication inhibitor for a virus belonging to the family Geminiviridae, which comprises a zinc finger protein that can specifically bind to full length DNA of stem loop region of the virus, or one or more partial DNAs selected from the full length DNA, and can inhibit formation of a stem loop structure,
- wherein the zinc finger protein has an amino acid sequence specified as the following (a), (b) or (c):
- (a) amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 5 targeting viruses belonging to the genus Mastrevirus of the family Geminiviridae, and amino acid sequences having 90% or more homology with SEQ ID NO:
- 5;
- (b) amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 6 targeting viruses belonging to the genus Mastrevirus of the family Geminiviridae, and amino acid sequences having 90% or more homology with SEQ ID NO:
- 6;
- or
- (c) amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
