Abstract
This document relates to compositions containing cardiogenic factors, to methods to obtain cells by culturing initial cells in the presence of such factors; and methods of administering the obtained cells to heart tissue.
Claims6
A composition for use in differentiation of stem cells into cardioprogenitor cells consisting of:
- TGFβ-1;
- a BMP polypeptide, wherein the BMP polypeptide is selected from the group consisting of:
- BMP2 and BMP4;
- α-thrombin;
- FGF-2;
- IGF-1;
- Activin-A;
- Cardiotrophin;
- and Cardiogenol C.
