Composition for preventing or treating dentin-associated symptoms or diseases, and method using the same

A formulation for teeth, comprising:

• a plurality of calcium ion carriers which are silicon dioxide microparticles having a plurality of pores;
• a plurality of calcium-containing particulates composed of calcium carbonate, wherein the calcium-containing particulates are carried by the calcium ion carriers and adhered into the plurality of pores of the silicon dioxide microparticles;
• and
• an acidic solution for releasing calcium ions from the calcium-containing particulates carried by the calcium ion carriers for forming precipitation deep in dentinal tubules, wherein the acidic solution is at least one selected from the group consisting of a phosphoric acid solution, an oxalic acid solution and a citric acid solution,
• wherein a particle diameter of the silicon dioxide microparticles is in a range of 0.1 μm to 100 μm, the pore diameters of the plurality of pores are in a range of 1 nm to 100 nm, the formulation has a pH value in a range of 2 to 6, and the formulation is present as a gel, a paste, a slurry, an emulsion or a glue.
