Rotary dampers, systems, and related methods

A method of providing a rotary damper, the method comprising:

• providing a housing;
• positioning a rotor assembly inside the housing;
• and
• providing at least resilient member adjacent to an outer portion of the housing, the at least one resilient member being one disk shaped;
• wherein the at least one resilient member is externally visible from outside of the rotary damper and the at least one resilient member is adapted to internally seal a damping fluid within a portion of the rotor assembly.

A rotary damper comprising:

• a housing;
• a rotor assembly disposed inside the housing, the rotor assembly including at least one radially extending rotor member positioned in at least one rotary assembly cavity;
• at least one primary liquid orifice disposed in a portion of the at least one rotor member;
• at least one pressure equalization port disposed within a portion of the rotor assembly;
• and
• at least one liquid bleed orifice connected to the at least one pressure equalization port.
