## Abstract

A novel maize variety designated X80H133 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X80H133 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X80H133 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X80H133, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X80H133. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X80H133.

## Claims

A plant part or cell of the plant of claim 2, wherein the plant part comprises at least one cell of hybrid maize variety X80H133.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A method of producing the seed of claim 1, the method comprising crossing a plant of variety PH26B5 with a plant of variety PH1DAM, wherein representative seed of varieties PH26B5 and PH1DAM have been deposited under ATCC Accession numbers PTA-124329 and PTA-120428, respectively.

### Claim 5

A maize seed produced by crossing a plant of variety PH26B5, or a selfed progeny thereof, having a transgene introduced by backcrossing or transformation, with a plant of variety PH1DAM, (ii) a plant of variety PH1DAM, or a selfed progeny thereof, having a transgene introduced by backcrossing or transformation, with a plant of variety PH26B5, or (iii) a plant of variety PH26B5, or a selfed progeny thereof, having a transgene introduced by backcrossing or transformation, with a plant of variety PH1DAM, or a selfed progeny thereof, having a transgene introduced by backcrossing or transformation, wherein the backcrossing is sufficient to produce a first or second plant further comprising the transgene and otherwise all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of maize variety PH1DAM or maize variety PH26B5, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH26B5 and PH1DAM have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124329 and PTA-120428, respectively and wherein the transgene is inherited by the maize seed.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The seed of claim 5, wherein the transgene confers a property selected from the group consisting of male sterility, herbicide tolerance, insect resistance, disease resistance, waxy starch, modified fatty acid metabolism, modified phytic acid metabolism, modified carbohydrate metabolism and modified protein metabolism.

### Claim 7 (depends on 5)

The seed of claim 5, further comprising a seed treatment on the surface of the seed.
