Display device with capacitive touch panel

A display device with a capacitive touch panel, comprising:

• a display panel;
• a cover layer;
• and
• a laminate between the display panel and the cover layer, the laminate having:
• a first conductive layer;
• a second conductive layer that is positioned further from the cover layer than is the first conductive layer, the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer being arranged apart from each other in a stacking direction so as to form a capacitive touch sensor;
• and
• a circularly polarizing plate having:
• a polarizing plate that is positioned further from the cover layer than are the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer, the polarizing plate having:
• a polarizing film;
• and
• a cover layer-side protective film that is formed on a side of the polarizing film facing the cover layer;
• and
• a substrate positioned further from the cover layer than is the polarizing plate, the substrate having an optical film with a phase difference of λ/4, a slow axis of the optical film intersecting a transmission axis of the polarizing film at an angle of about 45° as viewed in the stacking direction,
• wherein the second conductive layer is formed on a surface of the cover layer-side protective film facing the cover layer.
