Apparatus and method managing power based on data

A processing apparatus comprising:

• a plurality of processors;
• a power information manager configured to
• receive an access request requesting provision of a particular data to a select processor of the plurality of processors, the access request comprising a memory address of the particular data,
• determine whether the memory address is located within a power region, the power region indicating a range of memory addresses for which power information exists, and
• upon determining that the memory address is located within the power region, and determine predefined power information corresponding to the particular data, the predefined power information indicating a suggested power mode for any of the plurality of processors when the select processor processes the particular data;
• and
• a power controller configured to, upon determine the predefined power information, control a current power mode of the select processor when the select processor processes the particular data based on the predefined power information.

An apparatus for managing power based on data, the apparatus comprising:

• a processor;
• a memory controller configured to
• read select data, including a particular data from among a data set of differing data, for selective processing by the processor during an execution process,
• wherein the select data is read from a memory in response to an access request requesting provision of the particular data to the processor, and
• provide the read particular data to the processor;
• and
• a power controller configured to
• determine whether power information is included in the read select data, the power information including a suggested power mode for the processor when the processor processes the particular data, and
• control a current power mode of the processor based on the power information.

A processing method comprising:

• receiving an access request requesting provision of a particular data to a processor, the access request comprising a memory address of the particular data;
• determining whether the memory address is located within a power region, the power region indicating a range of memory addresses for which power information exists;
• upon determining that the memory address is located within the power region, determining predefined power information corresponding to the particular data, the predefined power information indicating a suggested power mode for the processor when the processor processes the particular data;
• and
• upon determining the predefined power information, controlling a current power mode of the processor based on the predefined power information.
