Abstract
A fluid ejection device may include a laminate fluid manifold including plates in a laminate plate stack. The stack may include a fluid passage extending to an edge of the laminate plate stack. A die maybe secured across the edge of the laminate plate stack, wherein the die includes opening to receive fluid transmitted through the fluid passage.
Claims21
A fluid ejection device comprising:
- a laminate fluid manifold comprising plates in a laminate plate stack, the stack comprising a fluid passage extending to an edge of the laminate plate stack;
- a printhead die secured across the edge of the laminate plate stack, the die comprising a nozzle opening to receive fluid transmitted through the fluid passage.
A fluid ejection device comprising:
- a laminate fluid manifold comprising plates in a laminate plate stack, the stack comprising a fluid passage extending to an edge of the laminate plate stack;
- a die secured across the edge of the laminate plate stack, the die comprising a nozzle opening to receive fluid transmitted through the fluid passage, wherein the fluid passage comprises:
- a top surface formed by a first one of the plates;
- a bottom surface, opposite the top surface, formed by a second one of the plates;
- and
- opposite side edges formed by at least one third plate sandwiched between the first plate and the second plate.
