Abstract
An aqueous composition comprising an aluminum sesquichlorohydrate salt, water soluble calcium salt, and amino acid, wherein the molar ratio of water soluble calcium salt to aluminum is at least 1:40 and the molar ratio of amino acid to aluminum is at least 1:20 and methods for making such compositions having enhanced antiperspirancy performance.
Claims7
An aqueous composition comprising an aluminium sesquichlorohydrate salt, water soluble calcium salt, and amino acid, wherein the aluminium sesquichlorohydrate salt is of formula Al2(OH)4.7Cl1.3 to Al2(OH)4.9Cl1.1 and the molar ratio of calcium to aluminium is from 1:20 to 1:5 and the molar ratio of amino acid to aluminium is from 1:5 to 1:1, wherein the composition is an oil-in-water emulsion comprising an emulsifier, and wherein the emulsion has a continuous phase that is greater than 50% by weight water.
