Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X13K471 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X13K471 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X13K471 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X13K471, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X13K471. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X13K471.
Claims20
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13K471, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH2SRT, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH2SRT have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA124299, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X13K471 further comprising at least a first transgene, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH2SRT, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH2SRT have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA124299, respectively.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X13K471 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH2SRT;
- representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH2SRT having been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122439 and PTA-124299, respectively;
- wherein at least one of the varieties PH1V69 and PH2SRT further comprises a locus conversion and wherein the seed produces a plant having otherwise essentially all the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety X13K471 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
