A novel sweet corn hybrid plant, designated HMX4355YS, HMX4365YS, HMX4367WS and/or HMX5388YS is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of sweet corn hybrid HMX4355YS, HMX4365YS, HMX4367WS and/or HMX5388YS, to the plants and plant parts of sweet corn hybrid HMX4355YS, HMX4365YS, HMX4367WS and/or HMX5388YS, and to methods for producing a sweet corn plant by crossing the sweet corn hybrid HMX4355YS, HMX4365YS, HMX4367WS and/or HMX5388YS with itself or another sweet corn plant. The invention further relates to methods for producing a sweet corn plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic plants produced by that method and to methods for producing other sweet corn plants derived from the sweet corn hybrid plant HMX4355YS, HMX4365YS, HMX4367WS and/or HMX5388YS.
A seed of sweet corn hybrid designated HMX4367WS, wherein a representative sample of seed of said hybrid has been deposited under NCIMB No. 42796.
A sweet corn plant, or a part, or a plant cell thereof, wherein the plant or a plant regenerated from the part or the plant cell has all of the physological and morphological characteristicts of hybrid HMX4367WS listed in Table 3 when grown under the same environemental conditions, wherein a representative sample of seed of HMX4367WS has been deposited under NCIMB No. 42796.
A method for producing a transgenic sweet corn plant, the method comprising transforming at least one transgene into a sweet corn HMX4367WS plant, or a plant part or a plant cell thereof or parental line used for producing the sweet corn hybrid plant HMX4367WS, a sample seed of said hybrid having been deposited under NCIMB No. 42796WS thereby producing a transgenic sweet corn plant.
