System and method for simultaneous communication with multiple wireless communication devices

A system for simultaneous communication with multiple wireless communication devices, the system comprising:

• a first wireless station comprising:
• a plurality of antennas configured to detect a plurality of packets simultaneously received from a plurality of other wireless stations in which the plurality of other wireless stations adjust at least one of a timing offset or a frequency offset of their transmitted signal relative to at least one of a timing offset or a frequency offset of the first wireless station;
• a plurality of RF nodes each coupled to at least one of the plurality of antennas, wherein each of the RF nodes performs signal packaging and unpackaging of the plurality of packets;
• and
• at least one aggregator communicatively coupled to the plurality of RF nodes, wherein the at least one aggregator is configured to process the plurality of packets received simultaneously without a-priori information obtained from demodulation of previous packets received from the plurality of other wireless stations, wherein the at least one aggregator is configured to:
• frequency domain transform the received packets, group frequency domain transformed outputs for each subcarrier, determine a difference between subcarrier groups formed over different sample sets, and determine a set of weights for each subcarrier, wherein the weights are selected such that the first wireless station can at least one of detect or demodulate the received plurality of packets.

A computer-implemented method for simultaneous communication with multiple wireless communication devices, the method comprising:

• receiving, by a first wireless station from a plurality of wireless stations within a first wireless channel and using a plurality of antennas, a plurality of packets each packet having at least one of a unique timing offset or a unique frequency offset relative to a frequency offset of the first wireless station, wherein each packet of the plurality of packets include orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) wireless signals, wherein the plurality of packets are received simultaneously from the plurality of wireless stations, and wherein each of the simultaneously received packets includes a plurality of frequency tones;
• frequency domain transform the received packets;
• grouping frequency domain transform outputs for each subcarrier;
• determining a difference between subcarrier groups formed over different sample sets;
• and
• determining a set of weights for each subcarrier, wherein the weights are selected such that the first wireless station can at least one of detect or demodulate the received plurality of packets,
• wherein the first wireless station assigns unique frequency offsets or timing offsets to a plurality of other wireless stations permitting the first wireless station to determine which packets originate from which wireless station without needing to demodulate each packet while also ensuring each packet has the frequency offset.
