Abstract
An alert presentation apparatus (EMS (200)) acquires the amounts of power consumed by loads connected to a system, and on the basis of the acquired power amounts, presents a load list including the power consumption of each load. This alert presentation apparatus (EMS (200)) presents the load list so as to reduce the frequency at which the loads that are on the load list change.
Claims6
An alert presentation apparatus comprising:
- a receiver that acquires an amount of power consumed by each of a plurality of loads and an amount of power supplied by a grid;
- and
- a controller that, during each of a plurality of prescribed time periods,
- accumulates the amount of power supplied by the grid during the prescribed time period,
- predicts an amount of power that will have been supplied by the grid at an end of the prescribed time period,
- determines whether or not the predicted amount of power exceeds a prescribed threshold, and,
- presents a list of at least a subset of the plurality of loads based on the acquired amounts of power consumed by the at least a subset of the plurality of loads,
- wherein each prescribed time period includes a first period and a second period after the first period, and
- wherein the controller updates the list in the first period at a first interval and updates the list in the second period at a second interval that is shorter than the first interval.

An alert presentation method comprising, by a controller of an energy management apparatus, during each of a plurality of prescribed time periods:
- acquiring an amount of power consumed by each of a plurality of loads and an amount of power supplied by a grid;
- accumulating the amount of power supplied by the grid during the prescribed time period;
- predicting an amount of power that will have been supplied by the grid at an end of the prescribed time period;
- determining whether or not the predicted amount of power exceeds a prescribed threshold;
- and,
- presenting a list of at least a subset of the plurality of loads based on the acquired amounts of power consumed by the at least a subset of the plurality of loads,
- wherein each prescribed time period includes a first period and a second period after the first period;
- and
- wherein presenting the list comprises
- updating the list in the first period at a first interval, and
- updating the list in the second period at a second interval that is shorter than the first interval.
