Abstract
A light structure for an electronic device includes a first portion permitting user access to a button of the device; and a second portion surrounding the first portion, wherein the second portion permits light from a light source to pass through. The light passing through the second portion varies according to a condition of the electronic device.
Claims19
A light structure for a camera, comprising:
- a first portion permitting user access to a button of the camera, wherein the button controls modes of operation of the camera;
- a second portion surrounding the first portion, wherein the second portion permits light from a light source to pass through, wherein the light passing through the second portion varies in at least three degrees of brightness or at least three sizes of an illuminated area according to a condition of the camera;
- and
- a base member attached to at least one of the first portion and the second portion, the base member permitting light from the light source to pass through.

- a first portion permitting user access to a button of the electronic device, wherein the button controls modes of operation of the electronic device;
- a second portion surrounding the first portion, wherein the second portion permits light from a light source to pass through, wherein the light passing through the second portion varies in at least three degrees of brightness or at least three sizes of an illuminated area according to a condition of the electronic device.
A light structure for an electronic device, comprising:

- a second portion surrounding the first portion, wherein the second portion permits light from a light source to pass through, wherein the light passing through the second portion varies in at least three degrees of brightness or at least three sizes of an illuminated area according to a condition of the electronic device;
- and
- a base member attached to at least one of the first portion and the second portion, the base member permitting light from the light source to pass through.
