Abstract
In one aspect, compositions are described herein. In some embodiments, a composition comprises a latent heat storage material having a solid-to-gel transition between about −50° C. and about 100° C. at 1 atm. In some embodiments, a composition comprises a foam and a latent heat storage material dispersed in the foam, the latent heat storage material having a solid-to-gel transition between about −50° C. and about 100° C. at 1 atm.
Claims16
A composition comprising a latent heat storage material having a solid-to-gel transition between −50° C. and 100° C. at 1 atm, wherein the latent heat storage material comprises one or more A-B-A trimers in which two monofunctional oxidized fatty components A are chemically bonded to a bifunctional linker component B.
A composition including:
- a foam;
- and
- a latent heat storage material dispersed in the foam, the latent heat storage material having a solid-to-gel transition between −50° C. and 100° C. at 1 atm, and comprising one or more A-B-A trimers in which two monofunctional phase change materials A are chemically bonded to a bifunctional linker component B.
