Abstract
Disclosed is an antibody which binds to quetiapine, which can be used to detect quetiapine in a sample such as in a competitive immunoassay method. The antibody can be used in a lateral flow assay device for point-of-care detection of quetiapine, including multiplex detection of aripiprazole, olanzapine, quetiapine, and risperidone in a single lateral flow assay device.
Claims15
An isolated antibody or a binding fragment thereof, which specifically binds to quetiapine but does not bind to aripiprazole, olanzapine and risperidone, and which is generated in response to a conjugate of a compound of Formula I and an immunogenic carrier,
- wherein:
- R1 is H,
- CH2NH2, or CH2NHC(O)(CH2)mCO2H;
- R2 is H,
- CH2NH2, or CH2NHC(O)(CH2)mCO2H;
- R3 is H;
- provided that either R1 or R2 must be H, and further provided that both R1 and R2 may not be H simultaneously;
- m is 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5;
- and
- n is 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5, wherein said immunogenic carrier is covalently linked to either R1 or R2, provided when said immunogenic carrier is linked to R1, R2 must be H and R1 must not be H, and wherein said immunogenic carrier is linked to R2, R1 must be H and R2 must not be H.
