Abstract
The present invention relates to pharmaceutical formulations comprising xanthine or xanthine derivatives, kits thereof, and methods for treating fibrotic diseases by local administration.
Claims12
A method for treating Peyronie's disease in a subject in need thereof, comprising injecting into at least one of the corpus cavernosa of the penis of the subject a pharmaceutical formulation consisting essentially of a therapeutic effective amount of pentoxifylline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the formulation is used as a mono therapy for treating Peyronie's disease.
