Claims16
A method for inhibiting the activity of Clostridium difficile in a subject, comprising administering to said subject a combination of clofazimine and metronidazole, wherein said combination exhibits a synergistic effect of increased inhibition of the activity of Clostridium difficile at a lower dose as compared with either clofazimine or metronidazole administered alone.
A method for inhibiting the activity of Clostridium difficile in a subject, comprising administering to said subject a pharmaceutical dosage form consisting of a combination of clofazimine and metronidazole and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient,
- wherein said pharmaceutical dosage form comprises from 0.0039 μg/ml to 0.031 μg/ml clofazimine and from 0.125 μg/ml to 4.0 μg/ml metronidazole, and
