Abstract
The present invention relates to an extract from Pteridium Arachnoideum or Pteridium Aquilinum and the preparation process thereof, useful for re-growing hair in subjects who have experienced hair loss due to any cause on head and eyebrow.

A composition base selected from the group consisting of creams, ointment, and emulsions, said composition base comprising an alcoholic extract from leaves, stems, roots or rhizomes of Pteridium arachnoideum, wherein the composition base containing from 1% to 99% of the extract by weight or volume.
