Abstract
The present invention generally relates to deuterium-enriched hyaluronan, d-HA, compositions containing the same, methods of using the same, and methods for making the same.
Claims25
A topical anti-wrinkle and anti-aging moisturizing composition, comprising:
- a d-HA of the formula:
- or a cosmetically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
- the d-HA has a molecular weight selected from about 15 kDa to about 10 MDa;
- and,
- each RD and RD1 is independently hydrogen or deuterium, provided that at least 1% of the total number of RD and RD1 groups present are D;
- and a cosmetically acceptable excipient;
- wherein the composition is in the form, selected from:
- a cream, ointment, gel, serum, hydrogel patch, and liposome preparation.
