Abstract
An atomizer for coating, for example automobile bodies, add-on parts and/or truck cabs is provided. The atomizer may be configured to apply one multi-component coating agent and one single-component coating agent from one application element, or to apply two different multi-component coating agents from one application element.
Claims7
An atomizer, comprising:
- an application element that is configured to apply first and second coating agents;
- a first equipment fluidly connected to the application element, the first equipment including
- a first coating agent component feed line, a hardener component feed line,
- an inline mixer which receives and mixes the first coating agent component with a hardener component;
- a manifold line connected to an output of the inline mixer and a first main needle connected to the manifold line;
- and
- a second equipment separate from the first equipment and fluidly connected to the application element, the second equipment including a single component coating agent feed line, a second main needle and a return valve proximate the second main needle valve.
