Disclosed are methods of treating fibrosis in a patient, comprising administering to a patient in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of an ACK inhibitor (e.g., a BTK inhibitor, such as for example an irreversible BTK inhibitor, such as for example, ibrutinib).

A method of treating pancreatic cancer in a pancreatic cancer patient having pancreatic fibrosis, comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a compound which is (R)-1-(3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-1-yl)piperidin-1-yl)prop-2-en-1-one (ibrutinib), of the structure:
A method of treating pancreatic cancer in a pancreatic cancer patient having pancreatic fibrosis, comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a compound which is (R)-1-(3-(4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-1-yl)piperidin-1-yl)prop-2-en-1-one (ibrutinib), of the structure:
