Abstract
Various aspects described herein relate to communicating in a wireless network. An uplink resource grant can be received from a network entity for communicating in the wireless network. A transmission time interval (TTI) for an uplink transmission within a subframe based on the uplink resource grant can be determined, wherein the TTI comprises one or more symbols which are a subset of a plurality of symbols in the subframe. Communications can be transmitted to the network entity over resources specified in the uplink resource grant during the TTI.
Claims68
A method for communicating in a wireless network, comprising:
- receiving an uplink resource grant from a network entity for communicating in the wireless network;
- determining a transmission time interval (TTI) for an uplink transmission within a subframe based on the uplink resource grant, wherein the TTI is a first TTI comprising one or more symbols which are a subset of a plurality of symbols in the subframe;
- receiving a second uplink resource grant from the network entity for communicating in the wireless network;
- determining a second TTI for a second uplink transmission based on the second uplink resource grant, wherein the second TTI comprises the subframe;
- and
- transmitting communications to the network entity over resources specified in the uplink resource grant during the TTI, wherein transmitting the communications comprises prioritizing transmission of communications over the resources specified in the uplink resource grant related to the first TTI over transmission of communications over the resources specified in the second uplink resource grant.
A user equipment for communicating in a wireless network, comprising:
- a transceiver;
- at least one processor communicatively coupled with the transceiver via a bus for communicating in the wireless network;
- and
- a memory communicatively coupled with the at least one processor and/or the transceiver via the bus;
- wherein the at least one processor and the memory are operable to:
- receive, via the transceiver, an uplink resource grant from a network entity for communicating in the wireless network;
- determine a transmission time interval (TTI) for an uplink transmission within a subframe based on the uplink resource grant, wherein the TTI is a first TTI comprising one or more symbols which are a subset of a plurality of symbols in the subframe;
- receive a second uplink resource grant from the network entity for communicating in the wireless network;
- determine a second TTI for a second uplink transmission based on the second uplink resource grant, wherein the second TTI comprises the subframe;
- and
- transmit, via the transceiver, communications to the network entity over resources specified in the uplink resource grant during the TTI, wherein the at least one processor and the memory are operable to transmit the communications at least in part by prioritizing transmission of communications over the resources specified in the uplink resource grant related to the first TTI over transmission of communications over the resources specified in the second uplink resource grant.
A user equipment for communicating in a wireless network, comprising:
- means for receiving an uplink resource grant from a network entity for communicating in the wireless network;
- means for determining a transmission time interval (TTI) for an uplink transmission within a subframe based on the uplink resource grant, wherein the TTI is a first TTI comprising one or more symbols which are a subset of a plurality of symbols in the subframe;
- means for receiving a second uplink resource grant from the network entity for communicating in the wireless network;
- means for determining a second TTI for a second uplink transmission based on the second uplink resource grant, wherein the second TTI comprises the subframe;
- and
- means for transmitting communications to the network entity over resources specified in the uplink resource grant during the TTI, wherein the means for transmitting transmits the communications at least in part by prioritizing transmission of communications over the resources specified in the uplink resource grant related to the first TTI over transmission of communications over the resources specified in the second uplink resource grant.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising computer-executable code for communicating in a wireless network, the code comprising:
- code for receiving an uplink resource grant from a network entity for communicating in the wireless network;
- code for determining a transmission time interval (TTI) for an uplink transmission within a subframe based on the uplink resource grant, wherein the TTI is a first TTI comprising one or more symbols which are a subset of a plurality of symbols in the subframe;
- code for receiving a second uplink resource grant from the network entity for communicating in the wireless network;
- code for determining a second TTI for a second uplink transmission based on the second uplink resource grant, wherein the second TTI comprises the subframe;
- and
- code for transmitting communications to the network entity over resources specified in the uplink resource grant during the TTI, wherein the code for transmitting transmits the communications at least in part by prioritizing transmission of communications over the resources specified in the uplink resource grant related to the first TTI over transmission of communications over the resources specified in the second uplink resource grant.
