Abstract
A reusable envelope has one or more spaces thereon where address, return labels and/or postage can be removably placed or permanently affixed such as for finite number of shipments using a permanently affixed postage area, for example. The reusable envelope also includes a resealable closure allowing the interior of the envelope to be closed and reopened multiple times for multiple uses (shipments, receiving) or optionally to use a finite number of times by exposing the permanent adhesive to the flat and mating surface depending on user preference.

- said panels adjacent each other with an open space therebetween;
- said open space sized to removably receive contents therein;
- wherein the entire front panel of said envelope is a continuous panel;
- wherein the entire rear panel of said envelope is a continuous panel;
- and wherein said front panel includes at least one front surface region, wherein said front surface region is formed of a backing material which releasably holds an adhesively backed label thereon locatable on said front panel and in a manner allowing the adhesively backed label to be removed and a new adhesively backed label to be applied;
- said envelope having an opening into said open space, said opening including a resealable closure;
- and
- wherein said at least one front surface region comprises a region of said envelope which is not part of said resealable closure.
A reusable envelope system, comprising in combination:

- said open space sized to removably receive contents therein;
- wherein said front planar panel is a continuous panel;
- wherein said rear panel is a continuous panel;
- wherein said front panel and/or said rear panel of said envelope includes at least one surface region which is formed of a backing material which releasably holds an adhesively backed label thereon locatable on said envelope and in a manner allowing the adhesively backed label to be removed and a new adhesively backed label structure to be applied;
- and
- said envelope having an opening into said open space, said opening including a resealable closure;
- and
