Provided is an oral care composition comprising a phosphate/acrylate co-polymer and an orally acceptable carrier and methods of using the same.

An oral care composition comprising a phosphate/acrylate co-polymer and an orally acceptable carrier, wherein the phosphate/acrylate co-polymer is a co-polymerized product of a mixture of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and a mixture of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate phosphates of Formula 1:
- wherein n is 0, 1 or 2.
The composition of 1, wherein the phosphate/acrylate co-polymer is a co-polymerized product of a mixture of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate phosphates of Formula 1 comprising acrylic acid in a molar percentage of 80-90% or 85%;
- methacrylic acid in a molar percentage of 5-15% or 11%, and hydroxyethyl methacrylate phosphates of Formula 1 in a molar percentage of 2-6% or 4%.
