Abstract
A modular system includes modular components capable of easy assembly, disassembly, and reuse. The system has a J-form component, I-form component, terminal components, and structural components. The system also includes removable mounting plates for assembly. The components are capable of enclosing, supporting, and displaying electronic, mechanical, and audio-visual displays.
Claims18
A modular system comprising:
- a terminal component, comprising:
- a body, the body comprising a cavity;
- and
- the body comprising a first end comprising, an outer joining surface, an inner joining surface, the outer joining surface and the inner joining surface having defined there through a conduit opening for receiving cabling, and a bolt hole;
- a second end comprising an outer surface, an inner surface;
- a first sidewall extending between a first horizontal peripheral edge of the first end and a first horizontal peripheral edge of the second end;
- a second sidewall opposite the first sidewall;
- the second sidewall extending between a second horizontal peripheral edge of the first end and a second horizontal peripheral edge of the second end;
- the second sidewall and the first sidewall forming an acute angle;
- and
- a removable mounting plate;
- and
- the removable mounting plate configured to be positioned within the cavity and aligned with the inner joining surface of the first end or the inner joining surface of the second end.
