Insecticidal phenyl-or pyridyl-piperdine compounds

A compound of formula (I):

• wherein
• A is CR2;
• p is 0 or 1;
• R1 is pyrid-4-yl optionally substituted by one or two substituents each independently selected from halogen, C1-C3alkyl or C1-C3haloalkyl;
• R2 is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C3haloalkyl or C1-C3haloalkoxy;
• R3 and R4 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, cyano, C1-C8alkyl, C1-C8haloalkyl, C2-C8alkenyl, C2-C8haloalkenyl, C3-C8cycloalkyl, C3-C8halocycloalkyl, C1-C8alkoxy, C1-C8haloalkoxy, C1-C8alkylthio or C1-C8haloalkylthio;
• R5 is hydrogen or halogen;
• each R6 and R7 is independently halogen, C1-C8alkyl, C1-C8haloalkyl, C1-C8alkoxy or C1-C8haloalkoxy;
• m is 0, 1 or 2;
• n is 0, 1 or 2;
• and
• R8 is halogen;
• or a salt thereof.
