Abstract
An iris of a mobile terminal includes a cover having a through hole therein and forming an internal space, a first blade disposed in the internal space and having a first through hole communicating with the through hole, a second blade disposed to overlap the first blade in at least a portion thereof within the internal space, communicating with the through hole, and having a second through hole formed to adjust a region in which light is incident through interference with the first through hole, and a link member connected to one end portion of each of the first and second blades and varying an aperture of the iris by moving at least one of the first and second blades.
Claims17
A mobile terminal comprising:
- a terminal body;
- and
- a camera module provided on one side of the terminal body and including a lens assembly exposed outwardly in at least a portion thereof, an iris provided on an inner side of the lens assembly to adjust an amount of incident light, and an image sensor provided on an inner side of the iris and converting an optical signal incident through the iris into an electrical signal,
- wherein the iris comprises:
- a cover having a through hole therein and forming an internal space;
- a first blade disposed in the internal space and having a first through hole;
- a first magnet provided on one side of the first blade;
- a first coil formed to face the first magnet and moving the first blade by electromagnetic force generated between the first coil and the first magnet;
- a second blade disposed to overlap the first blade in at least a portion thereof within the internal space and having a second through hole formed to adjust a region in which light is incident through interference with the first through hole;
- a second magnet provided on one side of the second blade;
- a second coil formed to face the second magnet and moving the second blade by electromagnetic force generated between the second coil and the second magnet;
- and
- a link member connected to one end portion of each of the first and second blades and varying an aperture of the iris by relatively moving the first and second blades,
- wherein
- the cover includes first and second covers coupled to form an internal space,
- a frame which is coupled to the first and second covers, has a through hole therein, and accommodates the first and second magnets, is provided in the internal space,
- the first and second blades, the first and second magnets, and the first and second coils are disposed between the first cover and the frame,
- the link member is disposed between the second cover and the frame, and
- the iris is implemented to a first state in which current supply is cut off and a second state in which a current is supplied to the iris to change the aperture of the iris.
