Abstract
A light-emitting device includes a substrate, a light-emitting element disposed on the substrate, and a sealing member for sealing the light-emitting element. The sealing member contains at least a particulate red phosphor. The red phosphor contains at least a Mn4+-activated fluoride complex phosphor. The sealing member has an upper surface with irregularities on at least part of the upper surface.
Claims11
A light-emitting device comprising:
- a substrate;
- a light-emitting element on the substrate;
- and
- a sealing member that seals the light-emitting element;
- wherein
- the sealing member includes at least a particulate red phosphor and a particulate green phosphor,
- the red phosphor includes at least a MN4+-activated fluoride complex phosphor,
- the Mn4+-activated fluoride complex phosphor includes particles, and
- the sealing member includes an upper surface that is recessed toward the light-emitting element from a circumferential edge of the sealing member in a plan view toward a center of the sealing member in the plan view, and includes convex portions that are defined by including the particles of the Mn4+-activated fluoride complex phosphor in the sealing member on at least a portion of the recessed upper surface of the sealing member.
