Automated testing of webpages

A system, comprising:

• a processor,
• a tangible, non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the processor, the tangible, non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
• identifying, by the processor, a plurality of test scripts in a test suite spreadsheet, wherein the test suite spreadsheet comprises a list of the plurality of test scripts, wherein each of the plurality of test scripts identifies a different test script configuration spreadsheet in a plurality of test script configuration spreadsheets;
• accessing, by the processor, a test script configuration spreadsheet in the plurality of test script configuration spreadsheets for a test script in the plurality of test scripts, wherein the test script configuration spreadsheet comprises a plurality of commands to be executed by the computer for the test script, wherein the test script configuration spreadsheet identifies a plurality of browsers in which to execute the test script;
• launching, by the processor, a browser specified in the test suite spreadsheet for the test script;
• and
• executing, by the processor, the test script in the test suite spreadsheet according to the plurality of commands in the test script configuration spreadsheet.

An article of manufacture including a non-transitory, tangible computer readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by a computer, cause the computer to perform operations comprising:

• identifying, by the computer, a plurality of test scripts in a test suite spreadsheet, wherein the test suite spreadsheet comprises a list of the plurality of test scripts, wherein each of the plurality of test scripts identifies a different test script configuration spreadsheet in a plurality of test script configuration spreadsheets;
• accessing, by the computer, a test script configuration spreadsheet in the plurality of test script configuration spreadsheets for a test script in the plurality of test scripts, wherein the test script configuration spreadsheet comprises a plurality of commands to be executed by the computer for the test script, wherein the test script configuration spreadsheet identifies a plurality of browsers in which to execute the test script;
• launching, by the computer, a browser specified in the test suite spreadsheet for the test script;
• and
• executing, by the computer, the test script in the test suite spreadsheet according to the plurality of commands in the test script configuration spreadsheet.
