Abstract
The present invention provides novels genes encoding methyl butenol (MBO) synthase, methy butenol synthases and their use in methyl butenol production.
Claims14
An isolated and purified methyl butenol (MBO) synthase cDNA molecule, wherein the MBO synthase cDNA molecule comprises any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 1-2 or 9-11 or at least 95% identity thereto, or a cDNA molecule encoding any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 18-19 or 26-28.
An isolated and purified methyl butenol (MBO) synthase cDNA, wherein the MBO synthase cDNA comprises SEQ ID NOs:
- 1-2 or 9-11 or an MBO synthase cDNA molecule encoding any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 18-19 or 26-28.
