Abstract
An image recording method including the steps of applying a liquid composition to a recording medium and applying an ink containing a pigment to the recording medium so as to overlap at least with a part of a region of the recording medium to which the liquid composition is applied. The water absorption amount of the recording medium at a contact time of 1 second according to the Bristow's method is 15 ml/m2 or less. The ink contains a compound having a polyoxyalkylene unit. The liquid composition contains a tannin compound.
Claims10
An image recording method comprising the steps of:
- applying a liquid composition to a recording medium;
- and
- applying an ink containing a pigment to the recording medium so as to overlap at least with a part of a region of the recording medium to which the liquid composition is applied,
- wherein a water absorption amount of the recording medium at a contact time of 1 second according to the Bristow's method is 15 ml/m2 or less,
- wherein the ink contains water and a compound having a polyoxyalkylene unit,
- wherein the liquid composition contains a tannin compound, and
