A method for treating periarthritis humero-scapularis comprising the step of administering orally to a subject in need thereof, a pharmaceutical preparation comprising an efficacious amount of IgY antibodies or their fragments, wherein said IgY antibodies or their fragments are anti-lipopolysaccharide polyclonal antibodies obtained from egg yolk of hens immunized with Gram-negative bacteria.
