System and method of content acquisition and delivery

A computer-readable storage device storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:

• creating a first calendar event in an electronic calendar, wherein the first calendar event corresponds to a first viewing time and is associated with delivery of media content to a first device associated with a first location;
• and
• modifying the first calendar event in response to the processor detecting a scheduling conflict between the first calendar event and a second calendar event in the electronic calendar, wherein the second calendar event is associated with a second location distinct from the first location, wherein modifying the first calendar event resolves the scheduling conflict between the first calendar event and the second calendar event.
