Suspended ceiling mounting bracket for connector installation

A system, comprising:

• a bracket configured to be mounted on a drop wire, the bracket comprising a port opening configured to hold a connector;
• and
• a surface mount box configured to mount on the bracket using one or more box mounting holes in the bracket, wherein the surface mount box is configured to house the connector, and wherein the surface mount box is configured to be mounted in multiple selectable orientations on the bracket.

A system, comprising:

• a bracket comprising at least one first port opening configured to receive and hold a connector, and box mounting holes configured to mount a surface mount box to the bracket, the surface mount box comprising at least one second port opening configured to receive and hold the connector;
• and
• a beam clamp disposed on the bracket, wherein the beam clamp is configured to affix the bracket to a planar structure.
