Combination static and dynamic pressure transducer employing a micro-filter

A system, comprising:

• a first tube having a front end and a back end, wherein the first tube is configured to:
• receive, at the front end of the first tube, a pressure, wherein the pressure includes a static pressure component and a dynamic pressure component;
• a micro-filter disposed proximate the back end of the first tube, wherein the micro-filter is configured to:
• receive the pressure via the first tube;
• filter at least a portion of the dynamic pressure component of the pressure;
• and
• output a filtered pressure;
• and
• a first sensing element operationally coupled to the first tube and the micro-filter and having a first surface and a second surface, wherein the first sensing element is configured to output a first pressure signal associated with the dynamic pressure component of the pressure;
• and
• a data acquisition comprising at least one microprocessor, the data acquisition system configured to:
• receive the first pressure signal;
• produce, by the at least one microprocessor, a compensated output signal by:
• computationally deconvolving the first pressure signal with a determined spectrum of the first tube and the micro-filter;
• and
• outputting the compensated output signal.
