Local clean zone forming apparatus

A local clean zone forming apparatus comprising a pair of push hoods each having an air blowing surface and having an alignment mechanism for forming uniform airflow installed inside the air blowing surface are disposed so that the uniform airflows discharged from the push hoods are opposite to and collide with each other in a positional relationship in which the air blowing surfaces are parallel to each other and the centers of the air blowing surfaces are not directly opposite each other, and the uniform airflows are obliquely discharged at an angle with respect to the air blowing surfaces to form a clean zone between air blowing surfaces, wherein

• one of the pair of the push hoods is configured to obliquely discharge an airflow at a predetermined angle with respect to the air blowing surface of that push hood,
• the other of the pair of the push hoods is configured to obliquely discharge an airflow at the same angle with respect to the air blowing surface of the other push hood as the predetermined angle,
• the pair of the push hoods discharges the uniform air flows through the air blowing surface to form the clean zone having a non-rectangular parallelogram-shaped base between the air blowing surfaces of the push hoods when the pair of the push hoods is viewed from above, wherein work can be done with a body of a worker not entering the airflow and only from an arm of the worker entering the clean zone thereby minimizing disturbance in the airflow of the clean zone, and
• a transport path for conveyor means is placed between the push hoods such that the airflow intersects the transport path at the oblique angle.
