Abstract
Provided are compositions comprising newly identified protein fragments of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, polynucleotides that encode them and complements thereof, related agents, and methods of use thereof in diagnostic, drug discovery, research, and therapeutic applications.
Claims11
An isolated polynucleotide that encodes a leucyl-tRNA synthetase (LeuRS) polypeptide of about 60 to about 100 amino acids in length which comprises an amino acid sequence that is least 95%, 98%, or 100% identical to SEQ ID NO:73, wherein the LeuRS polypeptide has an extracellular signaling activity, and wherein the polynucleotide is selected from (a) cDNA polynucleotide and (b) a modified mRNA polynucleotide.
