- b) a communication link for triggering a stimulation source for application of a pulsed cortical stimulation signal to a cortical area of the being for inducing a cortical stimulation signal on the neural pathway at the spinal junction;
- and
- c) a DC signal providing component configured to provide a constant-level direct current spinal stimulation signal to the neural spinal junction;
- and
- d) a synchronization controller component configured to control timing of the pulsed peripheral stimulation signals, the pulsed cortical stimulation signal, and the constant-level direct current spinal stimulation signal, for stimulation of the neural spinal junction by the pulsed induced peripheral stimulation signals and the pulsed induced cortical stimulation signal in the presence of the constant-level direct current spinal stimulation signal at the spinal junction.
A method for improving neural communication impairment of a vertebrate being, including application of cortical stimulation, the method comprising the steps of:
- a) applying pulsed peripheral stimulation signals at a peripheral body part for inducing a pulsed peripheral stimulation signal on a neural pathway for stimulation of a neural spinal junction on said pathway of said being;
- b) utilizing, a communication link for inducing a cortical stimulation signal on the neural pathway at the spinal junction;
- c) supplying constant-level direct current spinal stimulation to the neural spinal junction;
- and
- d) synchronizing the timing of the pulsed peripheral stimulation signals, the pulsed cortical stimulation signal, and the constant-level direct current spinal stimulation signal, for triple stimulation of the neural spinal junction by the pulsed peripheral stimulation signals and the pulsed motor cortex stimulation signal in the presence of the constant-level direct current spinal stimulation signal at the spinal junction.
A method for improving neural communication impairment of a vertebrate being, the method comprising:
- providing pulsed peripheral stimulation signals at the peripheral body part through a first signal transmission component for generating a first stimulation signal along a neural pathway of the being;
- providing a pulsed motor cortex stimulation signal to a motor cortex area through a second signal transmission component for generating a second stimulation signal along the neural pathway of the being;
- providing a constant-level direct current spinal stimulation signal at a neural spinal junction;
- and
- control timing of the pulsed peripheral stimulation signals and the pulsed motor cortex stimulation signal and the constant-level direct current spinal stimulation signal for triple stimulation of the neural pathway by the pulsed peripheral stimulation signals, the pulsed motor cortex stimulation signal and the constant-level direct current spinal stimulation signal;
