A novel maize variety designated X85H801 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X85H801 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X85H801 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X85H801, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X85H801. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X85H801.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X85H801, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1M7A with a second plant of variety PH2FDW, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1M7A and PH2FDW have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-120812 and PTA-123683, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X85H801 further comprising at least a first transgene, representative seed of hybrid maize variety X85H801 produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1M7A with a second plant of variety PH2FDW, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1M7A and PH2FDW have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-120812 and PTA-123683, respectively.
A converted F1 hybrid maize variety X85H801 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the converted seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1M7A with a second plant of variety PH2FDW;
