Claims9
A pharmaceutical ingestable carrier comprising more than 106 cfu per gram of the ingestable carrier of an isolated strain of Bifidobacterium longum BL1207 deposited at ATCC with accession number PTA-9608, wherein the pharmaceutical ingestable carrier is a tablet, and wherein the strain induces a ratio of interleukin-10 to interleukin-12 of at least 10 in a peripheral blood mononuclear cell co-incubation assay.
A pharmaceutical ingestable carrier comprising more than 106 cfu per gram of the ingestable carrier of an isolated strain of Bifidobacterium longum AH121A deposited at NCIMB with accession number NCIMB 41675, wherein the pharmaceutical ingestable carrier is a tablet, and wherein the strain induces a ratio of interleukin-10 to interleukin-12 of at least 10 in a peripheral blood mononuclear cell co-incubation assay.
A pharmaceutical ingestable carrier comprising more than 106 cfu per gram of the ingestable carrier of an isolated strain of Bifidobacterium longum AH1714 deposited at NCIMB with accession number NCIMB 41676, wherein the pharmaceutical ingestable carrier is a tablet, and wherein the strain induces a ratio of interleukin-10 to interleukin-12 of at least 10 in a peripheral blood mononuclear cell co-incubation assay.
