Abstract
A system and method for selecting, via a processor, a future time interval of operation and to determine a plurality of predicted future information handling system locations, determining a predominant wireless service for a future time interval of operation from a spatial-temporal user profile, and determining quality of service (QoS) requirements during the selected future time interval for the predominant wireless service at the plurality of predicted future information handling system locations, wherein the spatial-temporal user profile comprises historical wireless service type profiles for a plurality of locations where the information handling system has operated.
Claims20
An information handling system comprising:
- a network adapter for communication with a mobile wireless information handling system;
- an application processor to select a future time interval of operation and to determine a plurality of predicted future mobile wireless information handling system locations;
- the application processor to determine a predominant wireless service for a future time interval of operation of the mobile wireless information handling system from a spatial-temporal user profile;
- and
- the application processor to determine quality of service (QoS) requirements during the selected future time interval for the predominant wireless service at the plurality of predicted future mobile wireless information handling system locations,
- wherein the spatial-temporal user profile comprises historical wireless service type profiles for a plurality of locations where the mobile wireless information handling system has operated.
A computer implemented method comprising:
- selecting, via a processor, a future time interval of operation and to determine a plurality of predicted future information handling system locations;
- determining a predominant wireless service for a future time interval of operation from a spatial-temporal user profile;
- and
- determining quality of service (QoS) requirements during the selected future time interval for the predominant wireless service at the plurality of predicted future information handling system locations,
- wherein the spatial-temporal user profile comprises historical wireless service type profiles for a plurality of locations where an information handling system has operated.
An information handling system comprising:
- an application processor executing code instructions to select a future time interval of operation and to determine a plurality of predicted future information handling system locations;
- the application processor to determine a predominant wireless service for a future time interval of operation from a spatial-temporal user profile;
- and
- the application processor to determine quality of service (QoS) requirements during the selected future time interval for the predominant wireless service at the plurality of predicted future information handling system locations;
- the application processor to identify a wireless link meeting the QoS requirements for the predominant wireless service during the selected future time interval,
- wherein the spatial-temporal user profile comprises historical wireless service type profiles for a plurality of locations where the information handling system has operated.
