Abstract
Multi-layer display of content on a flexible display is provided. A roll profile of a rolled transparent flexible display is detected, the rolled transparent flexible display forming a plurality of overlapping display layers of the transparent flexible display. Content is then displayed on the plurality of overlapping display layers, where different portions of the content are displayed on different display layers of the plurality of display layers to present the content as three-dimensional content.
Claims16
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- indicating to a user a recommended roll profile for a transparent flexible display based on a recommended number of overlapping display layers on which content is to be displayed, the recommended roll profile indicating a curvature of the transparent flexible display to achieve the recommended number of display layers:
- detecting a roll profile of the transparent flexible display, the transparent flexible display being rolled and forming a plurality of overlapping display layers of the transparent flexible display;
- and
- based on determining that the detected roll profile of the transparent flexible display satisfies the recommended roll profile, displaying the content on the plurality of overlapping display layers, wherein different portions of the content are displayed on different display layers of the plurality of display layers to present the content as three-dimensional content.

A computer system comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor in communications with the memory, wherein the computer system is configured to perform a method, the method comprising:
- indicating to a user a recommended roll profile for a transparent flexible display based on a recommended number of overlapping display layers on which content is to be displayed, the recommended roll profile indicating a curvature of the transparent flexible display to achieve the recommended number of display layers;
- detecting a roll profile of the transparent flexible display, the transparent flexible display being rolled and forming a plurality of overlapping display layers of the transparent flexible display;
- and
- based on determining that the detected roll profile of the transparent flexible display satisfies the recommended roll profile, displaying the content on the plurality of overlapping display layers, wherein different portions of the content are displayed on different display layers of the plurality of display layers to present the content as three-dimensional content.

- a non-transitory computer readable storage medium readable by a processor and storing instructions for execution by the processor for performing a method comprising:
- indicating to a user a recommended roll profile for a transparent flexible display based on a recommended number of overlapping display layers on which content is to be displayed, the recommended roll profile indicating a curvature of the transparent flexible display to achieve the recommended number of display layers;
